Welcome to Herbal Heritage, where you can learn the art and science of traditional Western herbalism. Whether you want to improve your health, start a new career, or deepen your existing knowledge, we have the courses and programs for you!

Our Philosophy

At Herbal Heritage, our philosophy is holistic and organismic, putting people at the center of the healing process. This philosophy guides all our courses and programs at our organization.

We teach you how to use herbs in a way that respects the wisdom of nature and the complexity of human beings. Our philosophy is based on traditional Western herbalism, which combines the best of ancient and modern knowledge.

We don’t follow modern medicine’s view which sees health as a mere absence of disease. Instead, we believe that health is a dynamic state of balance and harmony that involves all aspects of our being: physical, emotional, mental, social, and spiritual.

We help you to understand and address the root causes of your health issues, not just the symptoms. On top of that, we teach you how to use herbs as allies that support your body’s natural healing abilities and enhance your well-being.

Our Therapeutic System

If you are interested in learning Western herbalism, Herbal Heritage has the courses and programs for you to try and enroll in. You can choose from a variety of general interest courses or enroll in the Traditional Herbalist diploma program, which prepares you for a professional career in herbalism.

Our program is unique in that it teaches you a clear and precise system of herbal therapeutics called the Four Elements Principle. This system is based on the philosophy and practice of traditional Western herbalism but adapted to the modern context. It helps you to use herbs effectively for all levels of physiological functioning and holistic healing.

The Four Elements Principle is easy to learn and apply, and it improves your clinical results. It also saves you time and effort by eliminating the need to memorize a lot of information that is not relevant or useful for herbal practice. Many of our students have found that this system has enhanced their knowledge and skills in herbalism.
